KERSE BRIDGE UPDATE

We have been advised work is progressing well with the replacing of the New Rail Bridge to the extent they are bringing the full closure date forward by 1 week.  The planned full closure for Kerse Road Bridge is being brought forward by one week. This will commence at 6.00 am on the morning of Monday 16 April 2018.

AN EVENING WITH JOHN DE GRAHAM’S CASTLE AND KIRK O’ MUIR

St Ninians Church Hall, Kirk Wynd, St Ninians, Stirling

Tuesday 13th March 2018 at 7.30 p.m.

Dr Murray Cook, Stirling Council Archaeologist, will report on the recent archaeological investigations at these two important historical sites in the Carron Valley. Grave robbers and Covenanters will also feature.

Hanneke Booij  will also discuss her work on the Gravestones of Kirk o’ Muir dating back to the mid 17thCentury
