AN EVENING WITH JOHN DE GRAHAM’S CASTLE AND KIRK O’MUIR
St Ninians Church Hall, Kirk Wynd, St Ninians, Stirling
Tuesday 13th March 2018 at 7.30 p.m.
Dr Murray Cook, Stirling Council Archaeologist, will report on the recent archaeological investigations at these two important historical sites in the Carron Valley. Grave robbers and Covenanters will also feature.
Hanneke Booij will also discuss her work on the Gravestones of Kirk o’ Muir dating back to the mid 17th Century.
Carron Valley is in the parish of St Ninians Church and the Church has for over 100 years held an annual service every August at Kirk o’ Muir to commemorate the Covenanters
