We are delighted that our Community Woodland Day and Pomona Fruit Day will go ahead at the Community Woodland on 16th October, 12-4pm.
There will be
Barbecue including vege. options
Children’s activities
Fruit Press to squeeze any apples you bring – to take home or share
Fruit treats to taste (jam, chutney, apple rings, apple and cinnamon muffins etc) and recipes to try at home
A chance to look around the woodland, walk the paths, ask questions about the meeting room proposal
A chance to meet our neighbours
Please come and bring
Something apple related
Any fruit you want to squeeze and sterilised bottles to take it away
Children and grandchildren (but don’t forget to take them away)
PLEASE let us know by October 10th how many are coming so we can make sure that there is enough barbecue to share.
