Young Persons and Childrens’ Grant Scheme Closed

Update: VRG  Children and Young People’s Grant.

VRG is very proud to be able to offer support to children and young people in the Carron Valley area to help with education, skills development or meeting the challenges of rural living.

These grants have been very popular, which shows that they are going some way to meeting the needs of our youngest residents. Grants have been awarded for a variety of requests including outdoor play equipment for younger children, money for extra tuition or learning aids, Brownie uniforms, sports classes and to buy musical instruments and music lessons.

Sadly, we have reached the end of our funds for this year. The new funding year will begin again in July 2025 at the start of our next financial year, but until then unfortunately the young person and children’s grant scheme is closed.
