Update

The hall opened to users in September 2025. There will be an official opening ceremony at 11am on Saturday 25 October 2025

On Monday 4 March 2024 there was a joint meeting between VRG/CVDCC. The Community Hall was unanimously approved.

The change of the name from Meeting Room to Community Hall is for VAT tax purposes. Shirley Paterson will be doing an EPC survey for the new building.

Community Wide Consultation 

On 9th September 2021 a Consultation mailing was sent to all households within VRG’s mailing list.  The results are now in and can be viewed here:

Consultation results

There were 85 respondents to the consultation with 81% (69) in favour of proceeding with the meeting room project and 19% (16) against.
